There’s never been a better time to be a woman. We live in an era when girls are told they can do anything. So why aren’t we seeing more women rising to the top ranks of corporations and the government? Why don’t our girls have more women in leadership roles to look up to?
The former New York City Deputy Public Advocate and founder of the national nonprofit Girls Who Code argues that aversion to risk and failure is the final hurdle holding women back in the workplace. Saujani advocates a new model of female leadership based on sponsorship — where women encourage each other to compete, take risks, embrace failure, and lift each other up personally and professionally.
We write a few words about ourselves. What is called an “intro” is a couple of sentences in a questionnaire that, along with your photographs, will let others understand what kind of person you are. Here we remember our goals and write depending on them. Keep in mind: “I want to get married and have eight children” is better replaced with “only serious relationship”. We decided to just find chatrulet shuffle a friend in another city or by correspondence, so let us know so as not to waste time on endless: “Pretty woman, I’m at your feet!” Do not: add banal quotes from VKontakte public pages, set up a fence of emoticons and emoji, list an endless list of requirements for a potential candidate. You can: write your weight / height, if this is important to you (although in fact it is better to choose photographs in which everything is already visible).
